Every spring and fall, the Henry County Soil and Water Conservation District holds a tree sale. The Henry County SWCD promotes the enhancement and improvement of wildlife habitat through the bi-annual tree sale.
The Tree Owner's Manual for the Northeastern and Midwestern United States is an informative and useful reference guide on tree planting, tree care, and maintenance. Wanting to plant a windbreak around your home, buildings or farm? Farmstead Windbreaks: Planning is a beneficial guide in developing and establishing a windbreak.
Trees are supplied by Winding Creek Nursery located in Millbrook, Illinois. We will be offering a variety of native deciduous and evergreen trees in addition to hedge species, fruit trees, and other herbaceous plants.

One of the three R's of Recycling is 'Reduce'. In an attempt to 'Reduce' Henry Co. is lessening the amount paper it prints. Instead of mailing brochures we would like to use email. Help us 'Reduce' by providing your email address if you are interested in any of our sales (trees, rain barrels, fish, or bulbs).
